Amy Black is a licensed psychologist specializing in evidence-based practices with adults. Her primary areas of focus include depression, anxiety, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties. Dr. Black works with individual adults, couples, and groups.

Dr. Black has been in Las Vegas since 2018. Dr. Black currently splits her time between The EBP and UNLV PRACTICE, where she serves as the Director of Clinical Services, Interdisciplinary Training, and Research. Since coming to Las Vegas, she has served in several leadership roles on the Southern Regional and Executive Boards of Nevada Psychological Association (NPA). Dr. Black currently serves as the President of the Southern Regional Board and the Federal Advocacy Coordinator for NPA. Additionally, Dr. Black was selected to represent Nevada as a Leadership Development Fellow for 2020 by the American Psychological Association (APA). When she isn’t working as a psychologist, Dr. Black enjoys spending her free time reading, writing, and taking care of plants both indoors and outdoors.
